Fuvio ("we", "us", "our") operates the Fuvio mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Email, username, password (hashed), phone number (optional), date of birth, country, gender, profile photo, cover photos, bio.
Identity Verification (KYC): Government ID images, selfie verification, address proof. Used only for host verification, agency owner verification, and withdrawal compliance. Stored encrypted, deleted after verification or upon account deletion.
Communication Data: Direct messages, chat room messages, voice/video call metadata (duration, participants, never call content), gift transactions.
Live Streaming Data: Stream metadata, viewer counts, gift records. We do NOT record live video streams. We do NOT store voice/video call content.
Financial Data: Wallet balance, recharge history, withdrawal history, payment method (last 4 digits only — never full card numbers). Full payment details processed by certified payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Bkash, etc.).
Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, IP address (last 90 days), FCM push token, country (from IP).
Usage Analytics: Screen views, feature usage, session duration. Aggregated and anonymized.
Location: Country-level only (from IP). We do NOT track precise GPS location.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process payments, recharges, and withdrawals
- Match users for live rooms, video calls, and recommendations
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and illegal content
- Send service notifications (gift received, follow, low balance, security alerts)
- Send promotional messages (only if you opt in)
- Comply with legal obligations (KYC, anti-money laundering, tax reporting)
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
3. Information Sharing
We do NOT sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Bkash, Nagad, etc.) — to process transactions
- Cloud infrastructure (DigitalOcean, AWS, Cloudflare) — to host the Service
- Live streaming providers (LiveKit, Coturn) — for real-time video/voice
- Push notification providers (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver alerts
- Identity verification providers (when KYC is required) — only for verification
- Law enforcement — when required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order)
- Business transfers — in case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified)
4. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained as long as account is active
- Deleted accounts: Most personal data deleted within 30 days; financial records retained 7 years for tax/compliance
- Chat messages: 90 days after conversation inactivity
- IP logs: 90 days
- KYC documents: 5 years after verification (legal requirement) or until account deletion + 7 years for compliance
5. Your Rights
Regardless of your country, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you (Settings → Privacy → Export My Data)
- Correct — Update any inaccurate personal data via Edit Profile
- Delete — Permanently delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account)
- Restrict processing — Limit how we use your data (contact [email protected])
- Object — Opt out of marketing emails
- Data portability — Receive your data in machine-readable format (JSON)
- Withdraw consent — At any time
- Lodge a complaint — With your local data protection authority
6. Children
Fuvio is NOT intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has registered should email [email protected].
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in Singapore, United States, India, or other countries where our service providers operate. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EU/UK and equivalent safeguards for other regions.
8. Security
- All data in transit encrypted via TLS 1.3
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plaintext)
- Refresh tokens with 7-day rotation + family detection
- JWT secrets rotated quarterly
- KYC documents stored encrypted at rest
- Regular third-party security audits
- 24/7 monitoring for breaches
9. Cookies & Tracking
The mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (fuvio.live) uses essential cookies only (authentication session). No third-party advertising trackers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification + email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
